Paris 25^th Sept, 2017.  Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque said that Pakistan will continue to support and nurture game of Cricket in France which has now become a symbol of Pakistan France Friendship.

He said this while addressing the Prize Distributing ceremony of the third edition of Jinnah Championship Trophy held at the town of Dreux near Paris, yesterday.

Mr. Gerard Hamel Mayor of Dreux, M. Prebagarane Balance the President of France Cricket, diplomats from the cricket-playing nations, senior officials from the French Ministry of Sports and Olympic Committee and the city administration of Dreux, and large number of cricket lovers witnessed the Prize distribution ceremony.

Ambassador who was the chief guest on the occasion said that successful holding of Pakistan sponsored three editions of Jinnah Champions Trophy since 2015 had greatly helped in promoting the game of cricket in France which was becoming increasingly popular amongst the local youth. He thanked Peshawar Zalmi for being partner in supporting the event.

Ambassador also congratulated the city of Paris for winning the hosting rights for 2024 Olympic Games. He expressed the hope that cricket could become part of these Olympic Games in Paris.

Mayor of Dreux thanked the Ambassador of Pakistan for sponsoring the event and expressed the support of his city to further upgrade the cricket stadium and allied infrastructure.

Final of Jinnah Trophy was won by the United Sri Lankan Cricket Association (USCA) by defeating the Paris University Club (PUC) by 8 wickets

Jinnah Championship Trophy started three years ago has now become the biggest and most prestigious tournament in cricket circle of France. In all 24 teams participated in the Jinnah Champions Trophy from all over France.

پاکستان فرانس میں کرکٹ کے فروغ کیلئے اپنی کوششیں جاری رکھے گا

پیرس: 25 ستمبر2017ء: معین الحق سفیر پاکستان برائے فرانس نے کہا کہ پاکستان فرانس میں کرکٹ کے کھیل کے فروغ کیلئے اپنی کوششیں جاری رکھے گا اور فرانس میں کرکٹ پاکستان فرانس دوستی کی علامت بن کر ابھر رہا ہے۔
یہ بات انہوں نے جناح چمپیئن ٹرافی کے تیسری مرحلے کی تقریب تقسیم انعامات کے موقع پر کہی جو پیرس کے نزدیک دروکس میں کل منعقد ہوئی۔
دروکس کے میئر جناب گرارد ہامل، فرانس کرکٹ ایسوسی ایشن کے صدر جناب پری بگغان بیلنس، سفراء، فرانسیسی وزارت کھیل کے اعلی افسران، اولمپکس کمیٹی، دروکس انتظامیہ اور بڑی تعداد میں کرکٹ سے دلچسپی رکھنے والے افراد نے تقریب تقسیم انعامات میں شرکت کی۔
سفیر پاکستان جو کہ اس تقریب کے مہمان خصوصی تھے۔ انہوں نے اپنے خیالات کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ پاکستان فرانس میں کرکٹ کے کھیل کو فروغ دینے کیلئے گذشتہ تین سالوں سے جناح چمپیئین ٹرافی کے انعقاد میں مکمل تعاون فراہم کر رہا ہے اسی وجہ سے کرکٹ فرانس کے نوجوانوں میں ایک مقبول کھیل بنتا جا رہا ہے۔ انہوں نے اس میچ کے انعقاد کیلئے تعاون فراہم کرنے پر پشاور زلمی کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
سفیر پاکستان نے اولمپکس گیم کو پیرس میں کرانے پر مبارک باد پیش کی۔ انہوں نے امید ظاہر کی کہ کرکٹ کو پیرس میں ہونے والے اولمپکس گیم میں شامل کیا جاسکتا ہے۔
دروکس کے میئر نے سفیر پاکستان کا اس کھیل کے انعقاد اور شہر کے کرکٹ سٹیڈیم کو جدید بنانے اور اس کی تزئین و آرائش کیلئے تعاون کرنے پر ان کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
جناح ٹرافی کا فائنل متحدہ سری لنکن کرکٹ ایسوسی ایشن نے پیرس یونیورسٹی کلب سے 8 وکٹوں سے جیت لیا۔
جناح چمپیئین ٹرافی گذشتہ تین سالوں سے جاری ہے اور اب فرانس میں بڑے اور دلچسپ کرکٹ ٹورنامنٹ کے سرکل میں داخل ہو چکی ہے۔ جناح چمپیئن ٹرافی میں فرانس سمیت کل 24 ٹیموں نے شرکت کی۔

Le Baloutchistan est sur la bonne voie en ce qui concerne l’amélioration en matière de sécurité et le projet CPEC

Paris, le 23 septembre 2017.

Le Gouverneur du Baloutchistan, Muhammad Khan Achakzai, a déclaré que le Baloutchistan était sur la voie du progrès, de la paix et de la prospérité avec le lancement du CPEC et l’amélioration des conditions de sécurité dans la province.

Il a dit cela en s’adressant aux doyens et notables de la communauté pakistanaise, qui sont venus le rencontrer à l’ambassade à Paris aujourd’hui. L’Ambassadeur du Pakistan en France, S.E. M. Moin ul Haque était également présent à cette occasion. Le Gouverneur est en visite à Paris dans le cadre de sa tournée dans les principales capitales européennes.

Le Gouverneur a déclaré que le lancement du projet du CPEC, l’achèvement du port en eau profonde de Gwadar et l’amélioration de la situation en matière de sécurité avaient contribué à la relance des activités sociales et économiques dans la province.

Il a dit que la plus haute priorité pour le gouvernement était de mener à bien le travail de développement au Baloutchistan pour le bien-être de la population et de mettre la province au même niveau que les autres provinces. Il a informé les membres de la communauté de certains grands projets qui ont été lancés dans la province dans les secteurs de l’énergie, de l’éducation, de la santé et de l’agriculture.

Balochistan is well on path of Progress with improved security situation and CPEC Project

Paris 23^rd Sept, 2017.  The Governor of Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai said that Balochistan was well on the path of Progress, peace, prosperity with the launch of CPEC and improved security situation in the province.

He said that while taking to elders and notables of Pakistan community who called on him at Embassy in Paris today. Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque was also present on the occasion. Governor is visiting Paris as part of his tour to key European capitals.

The Governor said that launch of CPEC project, completion of the deep sea port of Gawadar and the improved law and order situation had helped in the revival of social and economic activities in the province.

He said that government is according highest priority to carry out development work in Balochistan of the welfare of the people and to bring the province at par with the other provinces. He briefed the participants about some major projects which have been launched in the province in the energy, education, health and agriculture sectors.

La participation de 36 entreprises pakistanaises au salon Texworld aidera grandement à donner une impulsion aux exportations de produits textiles vers les marchés européens.

C’est ce qu’a déclaré l’Ambassadeur du Pakistan en France, S.E.M. Moin ul Haque, lors de sa visite au Pavillon du Pakistan, inauguré aujourd’hui à Paris lors de la 41^ème  édition du salon Texworld, où les produits textiles pakistanais de haute qualité et à valeur ajoutée sont présentés pour attirer acheteurs et visiteurs.

L’Ambassadeur a apprécié la variété des tissus haut de gamme ainsi que des vêtements en coton et des jeans, qui répondent aux goûts et préférences des clients européens.

L’Ambassadeur a également rencontré chacun des exposants individuellement et les a remercié de leur participation au salon qui contribuera à introduire les divers produits textiles pakistanais et donnera également un nouvel élan, très nécessaire, aux exportations pakistanaises vers le lucratif marché européen. Quelques-uns des principaux groupes et exportateurs pakistanais de textiles comme Nishat Mills, Kohinoor, Sapphire, Liberty Textiles, Kamal Limited, Masood Textiles et Lucky Textiles participent au salon.

Texworld, qui a lieu deux fois par an, est un salon très prisé des professionnels de l’industrie textile et de la mode. C’est une porte d’entrée à la fois précieuse et efficace au marché européen pour les fabricants de textiles internationaux.

36 Pakistan companies are participating in Texworld Paris to boost Textile Exports 

Paris September 19, 2017. The participation of the 36 Pakistani companies in the Texworld exhibition would greatly help in giving an impetus to the exports of textile products to the European markets.

This was stated by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque during his visit to Pakistan Pavilion established at the 4-day 41^st Edition of Texworld fair in Paris today where Pakistan’s high quality and value added textile products where showcased to attract buyers and visitors.

The Ambassador appreciated the variety of high end fabrics, cotton wears, jeans and which meet the taste and preferences of European clients.

The Ambassador also met each exhibitor individually and thanked them for their participation which would help in introducing Pakistan’s diverse textile products and would also provide much needed boost to the Pakistan’s textile exports to the lucrative European market. Some of the major Pakistani textile groups/exporters like Nishat Mills, Kohinoor, Sapphire, Liberty Textiles, Kamal Limited, Masood Textiles and Lucky Textiles participated in the exhibition.

The Texworld held twice every year is a popular trade fair exclusively for professionals from the textile and fashion industry. It is a valuable and efficient gateway to the European market for international textile manufacturers.

Le premier Grand Festival du Pakistan en France, organisé pour célébrer les 70 ans de l’indépendance du Pakistan, a pris fin aujourd’hui dans la banlieue parisienne et fut une occasion spectaculaire pour présenter la culture, l’artisanat, la mode, la musique et la cuisine pakistanais.

 Le Festival, inauguré conjointement par l’Ambassadeur du Pakistan en France, S.E. M. Moin ul Haque, le député français M. François Pupponi et le maire de Sarcelles, M. Nicolas Maccioni, a reçu la visite de diplomates, maires et adjoints aux maires français, membres de la société civile française, journalistes et expatriés pakistanais en grand nombre.

Dans son allocution à la cérémonie inaugurale qui a débuté avec le chant des hymnes nationaux pakistanais et français, l’Ambassadeur du Pakistan en France S.E. M. Moin ul Haque a félicité la communauté pakistanaise à l’occasion du 70^e anniversaire de l’indépendance du Pakistan.

L’Ambassadeur a déclaré que le but de ce festival était de sensibiliser la communauté pakistanaise et aussi nos amis français à l’importance du 70^e anniversaire de l’indépendance du Pakistan, et de leur faire découvrir la richesse de la culture et la musique pakistanaise, l’héritage populaire du Pakistan et ses paysages magnifiques, qui présentent autant d’opportunités touristiques.

L’Ambassadeur a dit que ce festival a également rassemblé la communauté pakistanaise sur une même plateforme, et leur a fourni l’occasion de consolider leur attachement au pays et démontrer leurs compétences créatives et artistiques.

Le député M. François Pupponi et le maire de Sarcelles, M. Nicolas Maccioni, qui ont également pris la parole à cette occasion, ont décrit la communauté pakistanaise comme étant une communauté paisible et amicale et ont déclaré que ce festival a non seulement donné au public français une occasion rare de visiter le Pakistan en version miniature en France, mais qu’il améliorerait également les relations bilatérales entre les deux pays.

L’Ambassadeur a remis des plaques commémoratives aux invités d’honneur français en reconnaissance de leurs services pour le bien-être de la communauté pakistanaise.

Plus tôt, le festival a débuté en grande pompe avec des chants patriotiques et un tableau vivant présenté par des écoliers, suivi de vibrants discours rendant hommage au père fondateur le Quaid-e-Azam et aux leaders du mouvement pour l’indépendance. Les orateurs ont également parlé de la richesse de l’histoire, des trésors archéologiques, des sites touristiques et de l’artisanat du Pakistan, sans oublier son héritage culturel et sociale.

Le spectacle culturel et le défilé de mode organisés par la communauté pakistanaise ont volé la vedette avec des danses folkloriques et la présentation magnifique d’habits pakistanais représentant les styles vestimentaires passés et contemporains de diverses régions du Pakistan.

Les pavillons nommés d’après les régions du Pakistan ont attiré un grand nombre de visiteurs, leur offrant une occasion rare de profiter de la nourriture riche et épicée du Pakistan. Un spectacle de magie, un tirage au sort, le tatouage au henné,  une exposition photographique, des jeux pour enfants et un concours de cerf-volant furent les points forts du festival.

Le chanteur pakistanais de renommée mondiale, Jawwad Ahmad, qu’on a fait venir spécialement du Pakistan pour le festival, a illuminé la soirée avec ses chants patriotiques, la musique soufie et ses chansons célèbres.

La soirée a pris fin avec l’engagement de faire de ce festival un événement annuel en France.

First ever Grand Pakistan Festival in France ended with a resounding success in Paris

Paris September 17, 2017. The first ever mega Pakistan Festival held to celebrate 70 years of Pakistan’s independence concluded in suburbs of Paris today after a splendid display of Pakistan’s culture, handicrafts, fashion, music and cuisine.

The Festival was jointly inaugurated by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque, member of French parliament Mr. Francois Pupponi and Mayor of Sarcelles town Mr. Nicolas Maccioni. Thousands of people from various walks of life including local French officials, diplomats, members of French Civil Society, media persons and expatriate Pakistanis attended the festival.

While addressing the inaugural ceremony which commenced with the playing of Pakistani and French national anthems, the Ambassador congratulated the Pakistani community on completing the 70 years of independence.

He said that this festival had multiple objectives from celebrating the 70th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence, showcasing the richness of Pakistani cultural diversity and the beauty of its magnificent landscapes introducing Pakistani cuisine and music, to bringing together the Pakistani community on a single platform for a common cause.

Member of French parliament, Mr. Francoise Pupponi and Mayor of Sarcelles town Mr. Nicolas Maccioni who also spoke on the occasion termed the Pakistan community as hardworking, peaceful and friendly and said that this festival had not only provide the French public a rare chance to experience a mini Pakistan in France but would also improve the bilateral relations between the two countries.

The Ambassador also presented commemoratory shields to the French guests in recognition of their services for the welfare and wellbeing of Pakistan community.

Earlier, the festival commenced with great fan and fare by singing of the patriotic songs and brilliant show of tableaus by the young school students followed by speeches to pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam and leaders of Independence movement. The speakers also underscored the rich history, archaeological treasures, touristic opportunities, handicrafts and diverse cultural and social traditions of Pakistan.

Culture and Fashion show organized by the Pakistan community stole the limelight by spectacle performance of folkdances and magnificent display of Pakistani dresses depicting past and contemporary styles of various regions of Pakistan.

The pavilion names after various regions of Pakistan attracted the visitors wherein Pakistani authentic food offering variety of dishes and snacks provided the visitors a rare opportunity to enjoy the rich and spicy food of Pakistan.

The magic show, raffle draw, mehndi tattooing, photographic exhibition, children games and kite flying competition were also the highlights of the Festival.

Mr. Jawad Ahmad, the world-renowned Pakistani singer who had specially flown from Pakistan for the festival enlightened the evening with heartwarming patriotic songs, sufi music and his famous numbers.

The festival concluded with the pledge to make this Festival an annual feature in France.
