Message by the Prime Minister of Pakistan on the ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’ (06 April, 2018)
For the last seven decades the people of Jammu and Kashmir have waged an unprecedented struggle against brutal Indian repression. The recent spate of Indian aggression carried out against unarmed Kashmiri civilians, killing more than 20 Kashmiri youth and injuring over 200 innocent protestors, is yet another testament to atrocities being carried out by the Indian occupation forces in Jammu and Kashmir. India continues to deny the valiant people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir the just right to self-determination enshrined in the UN Security Council resolutions.
The Jammu & Kashmir dispute is the unfinished agenda of Partition of the Indo-Pak Subcontinent and remains one of the oldest disputes on the agenda of the UN Security Council. Pakistan strongly condemns the systematic State terrorism and brutal killings of the people of IoK by Indian occupation forces. The basic human rights of the innocent people of IoK, including the right to life and peaceful assembly have been grossly violated by Indian occupation forces. Senior Hurriyat leadership has been arrested or placed under house detention.
The people of Pakistan and the international community have utmost respect for the people of Indian occupied Jammu & Kashmir for their unparalleled courage, bravery and persistence in facing the worst kind of State terrorism, human rights abuses, violence and suppression by the Indian state apparatus.
Pakistan calls upon the international community to raise its voice in seeking an end to the gross violations of human rights and the reign of terror unleashed by Indian occupation forces in IoK and fulfill the promises it made with the people of Jammu & Kashmir 70 years ago. Pakistan further urges the international community to urge India to provide access to OHCHR and IPHRC Fact Finding Missions to the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir to investigate the gross human rights violations carried out by the Indian occupation forces.
Pakistan will continue to extend its political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people until the realization of the right to self-determination.
Pakistan Investment Forum successfully concluded in Paris
Paris, 28th March 2018. Mr. Naeem Y. Zamindar, Minister of State and Chairman Board of Investment Pakistan led a 17-member Pakistani business delegation to the Pakistan Investment Forum held in Paris, today.
The Forum jointly organized by Pakistan Board of Investment, Embassy of Pakistan to France and Mouvement des Entreprises de France (MEDEF) was chaired by Chairman BoI and Mr. Thierry Pflimlin, President Pakistan-France Business Council. Presentation were made by the representatives of Punjab & KP Investment Boards about business and investment opportunities in their provinces. A large number of major French companies including Renault, Total, Suez, GE, Gemalto, Vinci, Credit Agricole, Surys and Engie attended the event.
While addressing the opening session of the Forum, Chairman BOI said that Pakistan with its 207 million strong consumer base, growing economy and skilled workforce offers an excellent opportunity to the French companies for investment. He invited them to benefit from Pakistan’s lucrative and liberal investment policies. He assured them Government’s full support and facilitation for their investments in Pakistan.
Mr. Moin ul Haque the Ambassador of Pakistan to France, said that Pakistan’s economy was going through a transformation with large scale infrastructure development and connectivity projects being undertaken under CPEC. He said it is high time for French companies to explore Pakistan, which is fast becoming a regional hub for trade and business.
Mr. Thierry Pflimlin, President France-Pakistan Business Council appreciated Government of Pakistan’s initiative to hold the Investment Forum in Paris. He recalled the visit of the French business delegation to Pakistan last year and noted that such interactions would strengthen the trade and investment relations between the two countries. Noting Pakistan’s impressive economic performance, he also urged France companies to invest in Pakistan.
Later, the representatives of the Pakistan business delegation held B2B meetings with their French counterparts in diverse fields such as infrastructure development, agri-products, energy, IT, pharmaceuticals, security equipment and water management.
Mr. Naeem Y. Zamindar Minister of State and Chairman Board of Investment Pakistan also held separate meetings with Mr. Thierry Pflimlin, President France-Pakistan Business Council of MEDEF International, who is also the President of TOTAL Global Services, and representatives of Renault, French Development Agency and Credit Agricole. He also gave interview to French newspapers Le Figaro and Liberation.

Le Pakistan Investment Forum s’est déroulé avec succès à Paris
Paris, le 28 mars 2018.
Naeem Y. Zamindar, Ministre d’État et président du Pakistan Board of Investment, (BOI), a dirigé une délégation d’entreprises pakistanaises de 17 membres au Pakistan Investment Forum qui a eu lieu aujourd’hui à Paris.
Le Forum organisé conjointement par le Pakistan Board of Investment, l’Ambassade du Pakistan en France et le Mouvement des Entreprises de France (MEDEF) a été présidé par le Président du BOI et M. Thierry Pflimlin, Président du Pakistan-France Business Council. Les représentants des conseils d’investissement du Pendjab et du Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ont présenté les opportunités d’affaires et d’investissement dans leur provinces. Un grand nombre de grandes entreprises françaises, dont Renault, Total, Suez, GE, Gemalto, Vinci, Crédit Agricole, Surys et Engie, ont participé à l’événement.
Lors de la séance d’ouverture du Forum, le président du BOI a déclaré que le Pakistan, avec ses 207 millions de consommateurs, son économie en croissance et sa main d’œuvre qualifiée, offre une excellente opportunité d’investissement pour les entreprises françaises. Il les a invités à bénéficier des politiques d’investissement lucratives et libérales du Pakistan. Il leur a assuré du soutien sans réserve du Gouvernement et la facilitation de leurs investissements au Pakistan
Moin ul Haque, Ambassadeur du Pakistan en France, a déclaré que l’économie pakistanaise était en pleine transformation avec des projets de développement d’infrastructures et de connectivité à grande échelle entrepris dans le cadre du CPEC. Il a déclaré qu’il est grand temps pour les entreprises françaises d’explorer le Pakistan, qui est rapidement en train de devenir une plaque tournante régionale pour le commerce et les affaires.
Thierry Pflimlin, Président du Conseil des affaires France-Pakistan, a apprécié l’initiative du Gouvernement pakistanais de tenir le Forum de l’investissement à Paris. Il a rappelé la visite de la délégation d’affaires française au Pakistan l’année dernière et a noté que de telles interactions renforceraient les relations commerciales et d’investissement entre les deux pays. Notant les performances économiques impressionnantes du Pakistan, il a également exhorté les entreprises françaises à investir au Pakistan.
Par la suite, les représentants de la délégation commerciale pakistanaise ont tenu des réunions B2B avec leurs homologues français dans divers secteurs tels que le développement des infrastructures, les produits agricoles, l’énergie, les technologies de l’information, les produits pharmaceutiques, les équipements de sécurité et la gestion de l’eau.
Naeem Y. Zamindar, Ministre d’Etat et Président du Conseil d’Investissement du Pakistan s’est également entretenu avec M. فورم کا انعقاد پاکستان سرمایہ کاری بورڈ، سفارت خانہ پاکستان فرانس اور موومنٹ دیز انٹرپرائیزز دی فرانس (میڈیف) کی طرف سے مشترکہ طور پر کیا گیا جس کی صدارت چیئر مین پاکستان سرمایہ کاری بورڈ اور جناب تھیری فلیملن صدر پاکستان فرانس بزنس کونسل نے کی۔ اس موقع پر پنجاب اور خیبر پختونخواہ کے سرمایہ کاری بورڈ کے نمائندوں نے اپنے صوبوں میں تجارت اور سرمایہ کاری کے بارے میں فورم کو آگاہ کیا۔ اس فورم میں فرانس کی بڑی کمپنیاں جن میں رینالٹ،ٹوٹل، سویز، جی ای،جیمولٹو، وینس، کریڈٹ ایگریکول، سوریز، اور ایجنی شامل ہیں کے نمائندوں نے بڑی تعداد میں شرکت کی۔
فورم کے افتتاحی اجلاس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے چیئرمین سرمایہ کاری بورڈ نے بتایا کہ پاکستان اپنے 207 ملین صارفین، بڑھتی ہوئی معیشت اور ماہر افرادی قوت کے ساتھ فرانس کی کمپنیوں کو پاکستان میں بہترین سرمایہ کاری کے مواقعے فراہم کرتی ہے۔ انہوں نے فرانسیسی کمپنیوں کو پاکستان کے منافع بخش اور لبرل سرمایہ کاری کی پالیسیوں سے فائدہ اٹھانے کی دعوت دی۔ انہوں نے فرانسیسی کمپنیوں کوپاکستان میں سرمایہ کاری کرنے کیلئے حکومت کی جانب سے مکمل تعاون اور تمام تر سہولتیں فراہم کرنے کی یقین دہانی بھی کرائی۔
جناب معین الحق سفیر پاکستان نے کہا کہ چین پاکستان اقتصادی راہداری سے پاکستان کی معیشت، بڑے پیمانے پر بنیادی ڈھانچے میں ترقی اور اس سے منسلکہ منصوبوں میں مزید بہتری آرہی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ فرانسیسی کمپنیوں کا پاکستان میں سرمایہ کاری کرنے کیلئے یہ ایک بہترین موقع ہے۔ کیونکہ یہ علاقہ تیزی سے سرمایہ کاری و تجارتی مرکز کے طور پر ابھر رہا ہے۔
جناب تھیری فلیملن صدر فرانس پاکستان بزنس کونسل نے پیرس میں پاکستان کی جانب سے سرمایہ کاری فورم کا انعقاد کرنے پر حکومت پاکستان کی اس کاوش کو سراہا۔ انہوں نے گذشتہ سال فرانسیسی تجارتی وفد کے پاکستان کے دورے کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ اس طرح کے مذاکرات سے دونوں ممالک کے درمیان تجارتی اور سرمایہ کاری کے تعلقات میں اضافہ ہوگا۔ انہوں نے پاکستان کی بہترین اقتصادی کارکردگی کے پیش نظر فرانسیسی کمپنیوں کو پاکستان میں سرمایہ کاری کرنے پر زور دیا۔

La 78ème Fête Nationale du Pakistan a été célébrée en France avec zèle et ferveur
23 mars 2018.
Une cérémonie de levée du drapeau a eu lieu aujourd’hui à l’Ambassade du Pakistan à Paris, pour commémorer la Journée du Pakistan avec zèle et ferveur.
La cérémonie s’est déroulée en présence de membres de la communauté pakistanaise, d’officiers de la mission et leurs familles et d’un grand nombre de représentants des médias.
La cérémonie a commencé par une récitation du Saint Coran, suivi du hissage du drapeau par S.E. M. Moin ul Haque, Ambassadeur du Pakistan en France. Ensuite, les invités ont assisté à la lecture des messages du Président et du Premier ministre à l’occasion de la Fête nationale.
Dans son discours, l’Ambassadeur a félicité les membres de la communauté pakistanaise à l’occasion de la Fête nationale. Il a rendu de riches hommages au Père de la Nation et à d’autres dirigeants nationaux du Pakistan Movement qui, par leurs efforts inlassables et leurs immenses sacrifices, ont créé une patrie à part pour les musulmans du sous-continent.
L’ambassadeur a déclaré qu’aujourd’hui, le Pakistan fait partie de la communauté internationale en tant que pays important doté d’institutions démocratiques fortes, d’une économie à croissance rapide, d’un système judiciaire indépendant et de médias libres.
L’Ambassadeur a remercié la communauté pakistanaise en France pour le rôle constructif qu’elle joue dans la projection de l’image positive du Pakistan en France. Il a déclaré que même si nos ancêtres ont fait des sacrifices pour obtenir une patrie pour nous, il est de notre responsabilité collective de faire du Pakistan un pays fort, pacifique et prospère pour les générations futures.
Plus tard dans la soirée, l’Ambassadeur a organisé une réception diplomatique pour marquer la Journée du Pakistan. Parlementaires français, hauts fonctionnaires civils et militaires, intellectuels, universitaires, et diplomates étrangers en poste en France ont assisté à la réception en grand nombre.
Republic of Korea’s contribution to Malala Fund for Girls Right to Education
Paris, 24 March, 2018: A Funds-in-Trust Agreement was signed between Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and UNESCO at UNESCO Headquarters yesterday. The Agreement was signed by Ms. Audrey Azoulay, Director General UNESCO and H.E. Mr LEE Byong Hyun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Delegate of the Republic of Korea to UNESCO. The Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque also attended the signing ceremony.
Under the Agreement, Republic of Korea, will provide support to national capacity building to realize girls’ right to education in Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan to the tune of USD 3.4 million under the UNESCO Malala Fund.
UNESCO-Malala Fund for Girls’ Right to Education which was established in 2012 at the initiative of Pakistan with seed money of USD 10 million as an initial contribution. It is a multi-donor account meant to expand girls’ access to quality and gender responsive education through implementing projects in Pakistan as well as eight other countries namely Egypt, Nigeria, Tanzania, Nepal, Mozambique, Cambodia, Mauritania and Vietnam.
The program’s success and visibility is a testament to Pakistan’s continued commitment to the noble cause of girl’s education, as well as excellent partnership with contributing countries. Pakistan greatly appreciates the valuable support of Government and people of Republic of Korea for extending their generous contribution to Malala Fund. Pakistan looks forward to working in close collaboration with UNESCO and donor countries for realizing the ideals of redressing gender imbalance in the field of education in the quest of sustainable, equitable future for all.

لڑکیوں کی تعلیم کیلئے ملالہ فنڈ میں کوریا کی شراکت داری
پیرس24 مارچ:2018 یونیسکو اور کورین انٹرنیشنل کارپوریشن ایجنسی کے درمیان یونیسکو ہیڈ کوارٹر میں گذشتہ روز فنڈز ٹرسٹ معاہدے پر دستخط کیئے گئے۔ یونیسکو کی جانب سے محترمہ اورے ایزولے، ڈائریکٹر جنرل اور کوریا کی جانب سے کورین سفیر و یونیسکو کے مستقل بندوب جناب لی بیونگ ہیون نے اس معاہدے پر دستخط کیئے۔ معاہدے کی دستخطی تقریب میں جناب معین الحق سفیر پاکستان بھی موجود تھے۔
معاہدے کے تحت ریپبلک آف کوریا لڑکیو ں میں قومی صلاحیتوں کی تعمیر اورتعلیم کے حصول کیلئے پنجاب اور گلگت بلتستان میں ملالہ فنڈ کے تحت 3.4 ملین ڈالر فراہم کرے گا۔
لڑکیوں کی تعلیم کے حصول کیلئے پاکستان کی جانب سے ابتدائی مرحلے میں 10 ملین ڈالر سے ملالہ فنڈ 2012 میں قائم کیا گیا تھا۔ یہ ایک ملٹی ڈونر اکاونٹ ہے جو لڑکیوں کی بہتری اورجنسی امتیاز کے بغیر پاکستان میں جاری تعلیمی منصوبوں کو بڑھانے کیلئے دیگر آٹھ ممالک جن میں مصر، نائیجریا، تنزانیہ، نیپال، موزامیک، کمبوڈیا، موریطانیہ اور ویت نام بھی شامل ہیں کا بھی حصہ ہے۔
پاکستان اس پروگرام کی کامیاب نمائش کیلئے پر عزم عہدکرتا ہے کہ لڑکیوں کی بہتر تعلیم کیلئے شراکت دار ممالک کے ساتھ مل کر کام کرتا رہے گا۔ پاکستان کوریا کی طرف سے ملالہ فنڈ میں فیاضیانہ شراکت کو فروغ دینے پر کورین حکومت اور عوام کا شکر گزار ہے۔ پاکستان یونیسکو اور شراکت دار ممالک کے ساتھ مل کر تعلیمی میدان میں جنسی عدم توازن کو روکنے اور تعلیمی نظریات کو عملی جامہ پہنانے کیلئے دیگر تمام ممالک کے ساتھ مل کر کام کرنے کا خواہاں ہے۔
The 78th National Day of Pakistan was celebrated in France with national zeal and fervor
23rd March, 2018: A Flag Hoisting ceremony was held at the Embassy of Pakistan in France, Paris today to commemorate Pakistan Day with zeal and fervor.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Pakistani community, officers of the missions and their families and media persons in large number.
The ceremony started with recitation from the Holy Quran. Moin ul Haque, Ambassador of Pakistan to France performed the flag hoisting ceremony. The messages by the President and the Prime Minister on the National Day were read out at this occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, the Ambassador congratulated the members of the Pakistani community on the National Day. He paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation and other national leaders of the Pakistan Movement, who with their untiring efforts and immense sacrifices carved a separate homeland for the Muslims of the sub-continent.
The Ambassador said that today Pakistan stands amongst the community of nations as an important country with strong democratic institutions, a fast growing economy, independent judiciary, and free media.
The Ambassador thanked the Pakistani community in France for their constructive role in projecting Pakistan’s positive image in France. He said that while our forefathers gave sacrifices to attain a homeland for us, it is our collective responsibility to make Pakistan a strong, peace loving and prosperous country for our future generations.
Later in the evening, the Ambassador hosted a diplomatic reception to mark the Pakistan Day. French members of the parliament, high ranking civil and military officials, intellectuals, scholars and foreign diplomats in France attended the reception in large number.

پاکستان کے 78ویں قومی دن کو فرانس میں قومی جوش و جذبے کے ساتھ منایا گیا
پیرس23 مارچ2018 آج یوم پاکستان کے موقع پر سفارت خانہ پاکستان، پیرس میں پرچم کشائی کی تقریب منعقد کی گئی اور پاکستان کے قومی دن کو ملی جوش و جذبے کے ساتھ منایا گیا۔
اس تقریب میں پاکستانی کمیونیٹی، سفارت خانہ کے افسران اور ان کے اہلخانہ اور صحافیوں کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔
تقریب کا آغاز تلاوت قرآن پاک سے کیا گیا۔ جناب معین الحق سفیر پاکستان برائے فرانس نے اس تقریب میں پاکستانی پرچم لہرایا اور صدر اور وزیراعظم پاکستان کے پیغامات بھی پڑھ کر سنائے۔
جناب معین الحق سفیر پاکستان نے تقریب کے دوران اپنے خطاب میں پاکستانی کمیونیٹی کو پاکستان کے قومی دن کے موقع پر مبارک بادپیش کی۔ انہوں نے بابائے قوم اور تحریک پاکستان کے دیگر قومی رہنماؤں کو خراج تحسین بھی پیش کیا جن کی انتھک کوششوں اور قربانیوں سے برصغیر کے مسلمانوں کیلئے ایک علیحدہ ملک پاکستان معرض وجود میں آیا۔
سفیر پاکستان نے کہا کہ پاکستان آج بین الاقوامی سطح پر اپنے مضبوط جمہوری اداروں، تیزی سے ترقی کرتی ہوئی معیشت، آزاد عدلیہ اور آزاد صحافت کے ساتھ ایک اہم ملک کے طور پر ابھر رہا ہے۔
سفیر پاکستان نے فرانس میں مقیم پاکستانی کمیونٹی کے مثبت اور تعمیری کردار کو سراہا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمارے آباؤ اجداد نے بہت سی قربانیاں پیش کر کے اس ملک کو حاصل کیا ہے اور اب ہماری اجتماعی ذمہ داری ہے کہ ہم اپنی آنے والی نسلوں کو ایک مضبوط، پرامن اور خوشحال ملک بنا کر دیں۔
بعد ازاں سفیر پاکستان نے یوم پاکستان کے موقع پر سفارتی استقبالیہ دیا۔ جس میں فرانس کے ارکان پارلیمنٹ، اعلی سول اور فوجی حکام، دانشوروں اور غیر ملکی سفارت کاروں کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔
Emerging and beautiful Pakistan – a country waiting to be discovered
Paris, 2 March, 2018. The Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque has said that Pakistan as an emerging and one of the fastest growing economy is attracting foreign investors, businessmen and traders from many countries including France.
The Ambassador was speaking at the Seminar on Pakistan titled, “Understanding Pakistani Geopolitics”, organized by Sciences Po university in the city of Grenoble.
During his presentation, the Ambassador gave a historical context of Pakistan’s creation and the difficulties that Pakistan had to face at the time of partition and the challenges confronted by since last four decades in its region amidst the competing interests of the major powers, the ongoing Pakistan-India tensions, instability in Afghanistan and fight against terrorism. The Pakistani nation had paid a heavy price for defeating the forces of terrorism and extremism. Over 60,000 peoples have died including thousands of our brave soldiers. The Ambassador had stated that Pakistan was committed to eradicate this menace from our country and our region.
He stated that Pakistani nation was resilient and would face all challenges making Pakistan a peaceful, modern and a progressive state. CPEC project was ushering a new era of economic prosperity in the country through building a vast network of roads, railways, ports and special industrial zones.
The Ambassador added that Pakistan’s future was promising with a strong parliament, effective and efficient civil and military administration, independent judiciary and free media.
Earlier, the Ambassador met with Mr. Patrcik Levy, the President of Grenoble Alpes University and invited him to consider opening a campus of his university in Pakistan. The Ambassador also visited the GE/Alstom Hydro Electricity facility in Grenoble which has been awarded the contract for Mangla Dam upgrade. He also visited the office of Schneider Electric to discuss future investment collaboration with Pakistan.
During his visit, the Ambassador met a group of Pakistani Scholars and PhD students who are pursuing their higher education in various Universities of Grenoble-Alps and advised them to fully focus on their studies and utilize the acquired knowledge and improved skills to contribute in progress and development of Pakistan after completing their courses.
This was the fifth leg of Ambassador’s outreach initiative to various Paris regions. Earlier, the Ambassador had visited Lyon, Strasbourg, Toulouse and Normandy region to promote Pakistan as a preferred destination for making investment, doing business and trade.
پیرس 2 مارچ 2018 جناب معین الحق سفیر پاکستان برائے فرانس نے کہا کہ پاکستان کی ابھرتی اور تیزی سے ترقی کرتی ہوئی معیشیت فرانس سمیت مختلف ملکوں کے سرمایہ کاروں، کاروباری حضرات اور تاجروں کو اپنی طرف راغب کر رہی ہے۔
ان خیالات کا اظہار سفیر پاکستان نے فرانس کے شہر گرینوبل شہر میں منعقدہ ایک کانفرنس میں کیا جس کا عنوان ”پاکستان جیو پالیٹیکس“ تھا۔ اس کانفرنس کا اہتمام سائنس پو یونیورسٹی فرانس کی جانب سے کیا گیا تھا۔
سفیر پاکستان کے اپنے خیالات کے اظہار کے دوران پاکستان کی تخلیق کا تاریخی حوالہ دیا اور تقسیم کے وقت پاکستان کو درپیش آنے والے مسائل و مشکلات اور خطے میں 4 دہائیوں سے بڑی عالمی قوتوں کے مفادات کی وجہ سے پیش آنے والی مشکلات، انڈیا پاکستان کے درمیان جاری کشمکش، افغانستان کا عدم استحکام اور دہشت گردگی کے خلاف جنگ کا بھی ذکر کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستانی قوم نے انتہا پسند اور دہشت گرد قوتووں کا مقابلہ کرنے کیلئے بہت بھاری قیمت چکائی ہے اور دہشت گردی کی اس جنگ میں ساٹھ ہزار سے زائد شہریوں اور ہماری بہادر افواج کے ہزاروں جوانوں نے اپنی جانوں کا انذرانہ پیش کیا ہے۔ سفیر پاکستان نے کہا کہ پاکستان اپنے اور خطے میں امن کے قیام کیلئے پر عزم ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستانی قوم پاکستان کو پرامن، جدید اور اور خوشحال ملک بنانے کیلئے ہر قسم کی مشکلات کا سامنا کرنے کیلئے تیار ہے۔ چین پاکستان اقتصادی راہداری منصوبے کے تحت بچھنے والے سڑکوں کے وسع جال، ریلوے، بندرگاہوں اور خصوصی صنعتی علاقوں کے قیام کی وجہ سے پاکستان کی معیشت ترقی کی طرف گامزن ہے۔
سفیر پاکستان نے کہا کہ مضبوط پارلیمنٹ،موثر سول و فوجی انتظامیہ، آزاد عدلیہ اور آزاد صحافت کی بدولت پاکستان کا مستقبل روشن ہے۔
اس سے قبل سفیر پاکستان نے گروینوبل آلپس یونیورسٹی کے صدر جناب پیٹرک لیوی سے بھی ملاقات کی اور انہیں پاکستان میں اپنی یونیورسٹی کا کیمپس کھولنے کی دعوت دی۔ سفیر پاکستان نے جی ای/ السٹوم ہائیڈرو الیکٹریسٹی کا بھی دورہ کیا جسے منگلہ ڈیم کی توسیع کا بھی ٹھیکہ دیا گیا ہے۔ انہوں نے شانائیڈر الیکٹرک کے آفس کا بھی دورہ کیا اور مستقبل میں پاکستان کے ساتھ ملک کر سرمایہ کاری کی پیشکش کی۔
سفیر پاکستان نے اپنے اس دورے کے دوران پاکستانی سکالرز اور پی ایچ ڈی کے طالبعلموں سے بھی ملاقات کی جو کہ گرینوبل آلپس کی مختلف یونیورسٹیوں میں تعلیم حاصل کر رہے ہیں۔ سفیر پاکستان نے انہیں تاکید کی کہ وہ اپنی تعلیم کی طرف بھرپور توجہ دیں اوراپنی تعلیم مکمل کرنے کے بعد پاکستان کی بہتری اور ترقی میں اپنا حصہ ڈالنے کیلئے اپنی مہارتوں اور علوم میں مزید بہتری لائیں۔
یہ سفیر پاکستان کا پیرس سے باہر فرانس کے مختلف شہروں میں پانچواں دورہ ہے۔ اس سے قبل سفیر پاکستان، پاکستان کے مثبت پہلووں کو اجاگر کرنے، سرمایہ کاری اور کاروبار کو فروغ دینے کیلئے لیون، سٹارسبرگ، تلوز اور نارمنڈی کے دورے کر چکے ہیں۔
Paris, 16 Feb, 2018. The Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque met with a cross-section of Pakistani community and representatives of Pakistani media in Paris and thanked them for their continued support to the Embassy in its efforts to further strengthen bilateral relations between France and Pakistan and its various projects for promoting soft image of the country.
During the meeting, the Ambassador gave a comprehensive briefing on various developments of 2017 and the planned activities for 2018. He also informed them about the measures taken by the Embassy for improving the quality and efficiency of Consular Services and Embassy’s outreach initiatives.
Ambassador said that bilateral trade between France and Pakistan is following an un-upward trajectory, noting with satisfaction that bilateral trade in the outgoing year of 2017 has registered significant increase with balance of trade in favor of Pakistan.
The Ambassador said that investments from France were also increasing with more and more French companies are taking interest to invest in Pakistan and benefit from the Special Economic Zones which are being set up in Pakistan as part of CPEC Project.
The Ambassador informed them that as a part of its economic diplomacy initiative, the Embassy in collaboration with Board of Investment, Pakistan and MEDEF France will organize a trade and investment seminar in Paris in the month of March.
The Ambassador said that the Pakistani diaspora is an asset for the country and we greatly value their suggestions/recommendations to improve efficiency of the Embassy’s services. He invited them to be an active and effective partner with the Embassy in its efforts to promote the interests of Pakistan in France.
The Ambassador especially thanked the Pakistan media persons based in France for their continued support in promoting the public diplomacy and economic diplomacy initiatives of the Embassy and assured that the Embassy will continue to extend its support to them in discharge of their professional assignments.

پیرس 16 فروری 2018 جناب معین الحق سفیر پاکستان نے پاکستانی برادری اور پاکستانی صحافتی نمائندوں سے پیرس میں ملاقات کی اور ان کا مسلسل سفارت خانہ کے ساتھ مل کر فرانس اور پاکستان کے درمیان باہمی تعلقات میں اضافے، مختلف منصوبوں میں تعاون اور ملک کے مثبت پہلوں اجاگر کرنے پر ان کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
ملاقات کے دوران سفیر پاکستان نے پاکستانی برادری کو سال 2017 میں ہونے والی ترقیوں اور سال 2018 کے پروگراموں کی منصوبہ بندی کے بارے میں تفصیلی آگاہی فراہم کی۔ انہو ں نے سفارت خانہ کی جانب سے قونصل خانہ کی بہتر کارکردگی اور معیار کیلئے جو اقدامات اٹھائے گئے ہیں ان کے بارے میں بھی تفصیلی آگاہی فراہم کی۔
سفیر پاکستان نے گزشتہ سال 2017 میں پاکستان اور فرانس کے درمیان دوطرفہ تجارت اور سرمایہ کاری کے اضافے پر اطمینان کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ یہ دو طرفہ تجارتی اضافہ پاکستان کے مفاد میں ہے۔
سفیر پاکستان نے کہا کہ زیادہ سے زیادہ فرانسیسی کمپنیاں پاکستان میں سرمایہ کاری کرنے کیلئے چائینہ پاکستان اقتصادی راہداری کے منصوبے کے تحت قائم کئے گئے خصوصی اقتصادی زونز سے مستفید ہونے کیلئے خصوصی دلچسپی لے رہی ہیں۔
سفیر پاکستان نے انہیں بتایا کہ مارچ کے مہینے میں سفارت خانہ، پاکستان بورڈ آف انویسٹمنٹ اور میڈیف فرانس کے تعاون سے پیرس میں ایک تجارتی و سرمایہ کاری سیمینار منعقد کر رہا ہے جو سفارت خانہ پاکستان کی اقتصادی سفارتکای اقدامات کا حصہ ہے۔
سفیر پاکستان نے کہا کہ بیرون ملک مقیم پاکستانی ملک کا عظیم اثاثہ ہیں اور سفارت خانہ ان کی دی گئی تجاویز و آراء کو قدر کی نگاہ سے دیکھتا ہے۔ سفیر پاکستان نے انہیں پاکستان اور فرانس کے درمیان بہتر مفاد میں سفارت خانہ کے ساتھ ملک کر کام کرنے کی بھی دعوت دی۔
سفیر پاکستان نے پاکستانی صحافیوں کا خصوصی طور پر شکریہ ادا کیا کہ انہوں نے عوامی سفارتکاری اور اقتصادی سفارتکاری اقدامات کے فروغ کیلئے سفارت خانہ کی مسلسل حمایت کی ہے اور سفارت خانہ نے بھی انہیں یقین دلایا کہ سفارت خانہ ان کی پیشہ ورانہ ذمہ داریوں کی حمایت جاری رکھے گا۔

L’Ambassadeur du Pakistan en France, S.E. M. Moin ul Haque, a rencontré à Paris un échantillon représentatif de la communauté pakistanaise et des représentants des médias pakistanais en France et les a remerciés pour leur soutien continue à l’Ambassade dans ses efforts visant à renforcer les relations bilatérales entre la France et le Pakistan, et pour ses divers projets visant à promouvoir une image douce du pays.
Au cours de la réunion, l’Ambassadeur a détaillé les récentes évolutions survenues en 2017 et les activités prévues pour 2018. Il les a également informés des mesures prises par l’ambassade pour améliorer la qualité et l’efficacité des services consulaires et des initiatives de sensibilisation de l’ambassade.
L’Ambassadeur a indiqué que les échanges bilatéraux entre la France et le Pakistan continue de progresser, notant avec satisfaction que le commerce bilatéral en 2017 a enregistré une augmentation significative profitant à la balance commerciale du Pakistan.
L’Ambassadeur a indiqué que les investissements de la France sont également en augmentation avec l’intérêt croissant des entreprises françaises pour investir au Pakistan et bénéficier des Zones Economiques Spéciales qui s’établissent au Pakistan dans le cadre du projet CPEC.
L’Ambassadeur les a informés que dans le cadre de son initiative de diplomatie économique, l’Ambassade en collaboration avec le Conseil de l’Investissement au Pakistan et le MEDEF en France organisera un séminaire à Paris en mars cette année sur le commerce et l’investissement.
L’Ambassadeur a déclaré que la diaspora pakistanaise est un atout pour le pays et que ses conseils et recommandations pour améliorer l’efficacité des services de l’ambassade était grandement appréciés. Il a invité la communauté à devenir un partenaire actif et efficace de l’Ambassade dans ses efforts pour promouvoir les intérêts du Pakistan en France.
L’Ambassadeur a tout particulièrement remercié les représentants des médias pakistanais basés en France pour leur soutien constant à la promotion des initiatives de diplomatie publique et économique de l’Ambassade et a assuré que l’Ambassade continuera à leur apporter son soutien dans l’accomplissement de leurs missions professionnelles.
27 Pakistan companies attend Texworld 2018 in Paris
Paris, 12 Feb, 2018. Twenty-seven Pakistan companies are showcasing a wide range of their high quality products including fabrics, garments, knitwear and denim at the 4 day 42nd edition of the Texworld exhibition being held in Paris from 11-14 February, 2018.
Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque visited the Pakistan Pavilion established at the exhibition and met various companies and thanked them for their participation. He appreciated the variety of high end fabrics, cotton wears, jeans and other textile products which were specially designed to meet the taste and preferences of European clients. The Ambassador also requested their feedback and recommendations to make participation of Pakistani companies more fruitful and result oriented in the upcoming fairs being held in Paris.
The Ambassador noted with satisfaction that the Pakistan’s exports to France are following an upward trajectory since the launch of economic diplomacy initiated by the Embassy in 2016. In the year 2016, Pakistan’s exports registered an increase of 16% while preliminary data for 2017 is also indicating a good increase in the exports.
Later, the Ambassador also met with the Mr. Micheal Scherpe, President of Texworld on the sidelines of the exhibition and discussed with him the ways and means to further improve participation of Pakistani companies in the Texworld fairs being held twice every year in Paris.
Some of the major Pakistani textile groups/exporters like Nishat Mills, Kohinoor, Sapphire, Kamal Limited, Siddique Sons and Master Textile had established their theme based customized pavilions which attracted large numbers of potential buyers.
The Texworld held twice every year is a popular trade fair exclusively for professionals from the textile and fashion industry. It is a valuable and efficient gateway to the European market for international textile manufacturers. Over 1000 exhibitors from 27 countries are participating in the fair.
Senates of Pakistan and France agreed to deepen bilateral parliamentary ties
Paris 18th January, 2018. A four member parliamentary delegation headed by Senator Lt. Gen ® Abdul Qayyum, Convener of the Pakistan-France Friendship Group at the Senate of Pakistan and Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Defense Production paid a two-day official visit to France from 16-18 January on the invitation of Senator Pascal Allizard, the President of the Pakistan France Friendship Group in the French Senate.
Senator Muhammad Saleh Shah from FATA, Senator Muhammad Usman Kakar from Balochistan and Senator Baz Muhammad Khan from KPK were other members of the delegation.
During its two-day stay in Paris, the delegation met M. Christian Cambon, President of French Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defense, Mr. Jean-Bernard Sempastous, President of Pakistan-France Friendship Group in the National Assembly and Mr. Thierry Pflimlin, President of Pakistan-France Business Council. It also received briefings at the French Ministries of Defence and Foreign Affairs and also visited French state Railways SNCF.
During the meetings, Senator Abdul Qayyum said that Pakistan attached great importance to its relation with France being a key European country and stressed the need to further cement and expand the existing bilateral relations in the fields of commerce, trade and investments, scientific research, energy, environment, education and culture. We encouraged more official exchanges, ministerial visits leading to the visit of French Prime Minister and President to Pakistan.
He briefed his French counterparts about Pakistan’s efforts in curbing terrorism. He said that the Pakistani nation through unprecedented sacrifices has defeated the forces of terrorism and extremism, and today Pakistan was on the path of peace and development with an impressive growth rate, infrastructure development and improvement of social sector.
Senators also briefed their French counterparts about the situation in South Asia, in particular the human rights violations in the Indian Occupied Kashmir. They urged France, being a permanent Member of the United Nations Security Council, to play its role for bringing peace and stability in South Asia and for resolution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with United Nation Security Council Resolutions.
The delegation also visited MEDEF and was received by M. Thierry Pflimlin, President Pakistan-France Business Council. Mr. Pflimlin briefed the senators about the current state of business relations between Pakistan and France. He stated that there was a renewed interest amongst French companies due to impressive economic growth and numerous investment opportunities in Pakistan.
During the meetings, both sides underlined the importance on parliamentary exchanges. It was noted that recent visits of parliamentary delegations from French to Pakistan in December last year had proved immensely beneficial to further strengthen and consolidate the existing parliamentary relations. Such visits provide a useful opportunity for better understanding of issues through open and candid dialogue.
The delegation also attended a session of the French Senate and took a deep interest in its proceedings.
