Paris 25.06.2017. The Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque offered Eid-ul-Fitre prayers with large number of Pakistani community in the Embassy of Pakistan to France here in Paris today
Special arrangements were made by the Embassy to facilitate the Community member to offer Eid prayers along with their families with simplicity keeping in view the recent tragic incidents of Quetta, Parachinar and Bahawalpur which resulted in loss of precious lives.
Special prayers were offered for the victims of Quetta, Parachinar and Bahawalpur
Later, the Ambassador got mixed-up with the community and offered Eid greetings to them.

Pakistan can learn from French Experience in Fashion Designing
Paris, 23rd June, 2017. Pakistani Fashion houses and Fashion designing students should learn from French experience in fashion designing to keep themselves updated with modern trends and new innovations taking place in the fast changing fashion industry.
This was stated by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque while talking to a 20-member group of students of Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD), Lahore which called on him at the Embassy of Pakistan to France, in Paris, yesterday.
The Ambassador said that Pakistan today has an impressive and thriving fashion industry. It has produced world class brands in textile and fashion, which speaks volume of the talent and prowess of Pakistani fashion designers.
Recalling the history of PIFD which was set up with the help of French designer Olivier Lapidus, the Ambassador expressed great satisfaction in seeing the institute becoming a prestigious learning place imparting quality education in multiple disciplines. He told the visiting group that Embassy plans to showcase the impressive thesis work of selected students of PFIP in Paris next year as part of its Public Diplomacy Initiative.
The Ambassador expressed the hope that such regular training programmes would help Pakistan students in their future studies and career. The interaction with the French designing schools could also help in creating a niche for Pakistan’s Fashion designing industry in France. The students also shared their experiences with the Ambassador about their training and study in Paris.
The students and two faculty members of PIFD are currently on a 20 days training and orientation visit at the Ecole De La Chamber Syndical De la Couture, Paris, France.

Le Pakistan peut s’instruire du savoir-faire français dans le domaine de la mode
Paris, le 23 juin 2017. Les maisons de couture pakistanaises et les étudiants en école de stylisme devraient s’inspirer du savoir-faire français dans le domaine de la mode pour se tenir au courant des tendances modernes et des innovations dans une industrie en pleine évolution.
C’est ce que l’Ambassadeur du Pakistan en France S.E. M. Moin ul Haque a déclaré en s’adressant à un groupe de vingt membres de l’Institut de la Mode et du Design du Pakistan (PIFD), basé à Lahore, qui a été accueilli hier à Paris par l’Ambassade du Pakistan en France.
L’ambassadeur a déclaré que le Pakistan possède une industrie de la mode remarquable et prospère, qui produit des marques de classe internationale dans les domaines du textile et de la mode, qui en dit long sur le talent et des prouesses des créateurs de mode pakistanais.
Rappelant l’histoire du PIFD, qui a été mis en place avec l’aide du designer français Olivier Lapidus, l’Ambassadeur a exprimé sa grande satisfaction de voir l’institut devenir un lieu d’apprentissage prestigieux offrant une éducation de qualité dans de multiples disciplines. Il a déclaré au groupe de visiteurs que l’Ambassade avait l’intention de présenter les impressionnants travaux de thèse des étudiants sélectionnés du PFID à Paris l’année prochaine dans le cadre de son Initiative de diplomatie publique.
L’Ambassadeur a exprimé l’espoir que de tels programmes de formation réguliers aideraient les étudiants pakistanais dans leurs futures études et leur carrière. L’interaction avec les écoles de design française pourrait également contribuer à créer un créneau pour l’industrie de la mode du Pakistan en France. Les étudiants ont également partagé avec Monsieur L’Ambassadeur leurs expériences liées à leur formation et leurs études à Paris.
Les étudiants et les deux membres du corps professoral du PIFD sont actuellement en visite de formation et d’orientation pendant 20 jours à l’Ecole de la chambre syndical de la couture à Paris, en France.
Le 19 juin, 2017. Une délégation de l’armée de l’air du Pakistan participe à la 52ème Salon aéronautique de Paris qui a ouvert ses portes aujourd’hui au Parc des Expositions du Bourget, à Paris.
La délégation pakistanaise, l’Ambassadeur du Pakistan en France S.E M. Moin ul Haque et plus de 300 délégués d’autres pays ont assisté à l’impressionnante cérémonie d’ouverture, présidée par le président de la République Française M. Emmanuel Macron, pendant laquelle des avions commerciaux et de défense ont présenté un show spectaculaire.
Plus tard, Monsieur l’Ambassadeur et les membres de la délégation ont visité diverses sections de l’exposition. Les liens entre le Pakistan et la France dans le domaine de la défense sont à la fois étroits et historiques.
Pendant leur séjour à Paris, les membres de la délégation tiendront un certain nombre de réunions pour explorer de nouvelles voies de collaboration.
Le Salon International de l’aéronautique et l’espace Paris (SIAE) est une exposition axée sur l’innovation où les secteurs aéronautique, numérique et aérospatial de l’industrie de l’espace aérien mondial sont assemblés. Plus de 2, 300 exposants internationaux, 30 pavillons nationaux et 300 délégations officielles venant du monde entier participent au plus grand spectacle de ce genre au monde.
Le Pakistan avait présenté trois avions de combat JF-17 Thunder au 51e Salon aéronautique de Paris en 2015.

Pakistan attend 52nd Paris Airshow
19th June, 2017. A delegation of Pakistan Air Force is attending the 4-day 52nd Paris Airshow starting from today at the Le Bourget Parc des Expositions, Paris.
Impressive inaugural ceremony was attended by the Pakistani delegation, Ambassador of Pakistan to France Mr. Moin ul Haque and over 300 delegates from other parts of the world. The President of France Mr. Emmanuel Macron officiated the opening ceremony amid spectacular show of commercial and defense planes and jets.
Later, the Ambassador and the members of the delegation visited various sections of the exhibition. Pakistan and France have close and historic defense ties.
Members of the delegate during their stay in Paris would hold a number of meeting to explore new avenues of cooperation.
International Paris Air Show (SIAE) is an innovation-centred exhibition where the aeronautics, digital and aerospace sectors of the global airspace industry come together. Over 2,300 international exhibitors, 30 national pavilions and 300 official delegations from all over the world are taking part in world’s biggest show of its kind.
Three JF-17 Thunder of Pakistan had attended the 51st Paris Airshow held in 2015.

پاکستان کی پیرس میں 52 ویں ہوابازی نمائش میں شرکت
مورخہ 19 جون 2017ء: پاکستان ایئر فورس کے وفد نے پیرس میں 52ویں چار روزہ ہوابازی کی نمائش میں شرکت کی جو آج سے لا بورجے پاغک دیس ایکسپوزیشن پیرس میں شروع ہے۔
اس پروقار افتتاحی تقریب میں پاکستانی وفد، سفیر پاکستان برائے فرانس معین الحق اور دنیا کے دوسرے حصوں سے آئے ہوئے 300 سے زائد وفود نے شرکت کی۔ فرانس کے صدر جناب ایمینول میکرون نے دفاعی، کاروباری نوعیت کے جہازروں اور لڑاکا طیاروں کے شاندار ہوائی کرتب اور مظاہروں کے درمیان اس نمائش کا افتتاح کیا۔
بعدازاں، سفیر پاکستان اور وفد کے اراکین نے نمائش کے مختلف شعبوں کا دورہ کیا۔ اس موقع پر سفیر پاکستان نے کہا کہ پاکستان اور فرانس کے تاریخی اور دفاعی شعبوں میں قریبی تعلقات ہیں۔
وفد کے اراکین پیرس میں اپنے قیام کے دوران دوسرے وفود سے ملاقاتیں بھی کریں گے اور متعلقہ شعبے میں نئی راہوں کے اپنے تعاون کو آگے بڑھائیں گے۔
پیرس میں بین الاقوامی ہوابازی کی نمائش کے انعقاد سے پوری دنیا سے ایروناٹک، ڈیجیٹل اور ایئرسپیس سیکٹر سے تعلق رکھنے والے لوگ اکھٹے ہوتے ہیں۔ تقریباً 2,300 سے زائد بین الاقوامی نمائش کنندگان، 30ممالک اور پوری دنیا سے 300 سرکاری وفود اس عالمی نمائش میں حصہ لے رہے ہیں۔
2015 میں پاکستان نے تین جے ایف 17 تھنڈر کے ساتھ 51ویں پیرس ایئرشو میں شرکت کی تھی۔

Pakistan Community is all set to celebrate 70th Anniversary of the Pakistan’s Independence this August. Community has resolved to organize a Pakistani Festival at Sarcelles a town near Paris to commemorate the event. The Festival will be held on 26th August, 2017. All community members are requested to come forward and play their role in making the festival a resounding success.
Le Pakistan a signé les accords de l’OCDE sur L’érosion de la base d’imposition et le transfert de bénéfices (BEPS) et sur l’Autorité compétente multilatérale pour l’échange automatique de renseignements
Paris, le 7 juin 2017. Au nom du Gouvernement pakistanais, l’Ambassadeur Moin ul Haq a signé aujourd’hui la Convention multilatérale de l’Organisation de coopération et de développement économiques (OCDE) pour mettre en œuvre des mesures fiscales liées aux traités visant à prévenir l’érosion de base et les bénéfices (BEPS). Environ 70 pays ont simultanément signé cette convention aujourd’hui au siège de l’OCDE en présence du Secrétaire général de l’OCDE, M. Angel Gurria.
Après la cérémonie, l’ambassadeur a déclaré que le Pakistan participera à présent aux efforts mondiaux pour élaborer des solutions afin de combler les lacunes dans les conventions fiscales qui permettent de transférer artificiellement les bénéfices des sociétés à des juridictions fiscales faibles ou inexistantes. En outre, le Pakistan recevra également un soutien de qualité et des directives cohérentes de l’OCDE pour mettre en œuvre les normes de BEPS afin de contrer les pratiques fiscales dommageables et les abus des conventions fiscales.
Moin ul Haque a ajouté que la signature de l’Instrument multilatéral est une étape de plus dans la politique du gouvernement actuel pour adopter les meilleures pratiques internationales dans le domaine des questions fiscales et pour s’associer à la lutte multilatérale contre l’évasion fiscale par un échange continu et mutuel de renseignements.
Tout en énumérant les mesures prises par le gouvernement pour promouvoir la transparence financière au Pakistan, l’ambassadeur a déclaré que le Pakistan a déjà rejoint «le Partenariat pour une gouvernance ouverte (PGO) » en décembre 2016 et a signé la Convention multilatérale de l’OCDE sur l’assistance administrative mutuelle en matière fiscale en septembre 2016. Le Pakistan a également récemment signé un accord révisé sur l’élimination de la double imposition avec la Suisse en mars 2017. Ces étapes reflètent l’engagement ferme du gouvernement à adopter une structure de gouvernance transparente et responsable dans le pays.
Précédemment, le Pakistan a signé l’Accord sur l’échange automatique de comptes financiers de l’Autorité compétente multilatérale (MCAA). L’accord a été signé par M. Mohammad Iqbal, directeur Taxes internationales au Bureau fédéral des revenus. La signature a été supervisée par l’Ambassadeur et le Secrétaire général adjoint de l’OCDE. De hauts responsables de l’OCDE du Forum mondial sur la Transparence et l’échange d’informations à des fins fiscales ont assisté à la cérémonie de signature.
Pakistan Signs OECD’s Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) Agreement and Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement for Automatic Exchange of Information
Paris, June 7, 2017. On behalf of the Government of Pakistan, Ambassador Moin ul Haq signed Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD’s) for the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit (BEPS) at OECD headquarter, Paris, today. Around 70 countries simultaneously signed this Convention today in the OECD Centre in the presence of Secretary General OECD Mr. Angel Gurria.
Speaking after the ceremony, the Ambassador said that Pakistan now will be part of global efforts to develop solutions to close the gaps in tax treaties that allow corporate profits to be artificially shifted to low or no tax jurisdictions. Besides, Pakistan will also receive consistent support and guidelines from OECD to implement BEPS’s standards to counter harmful tax practices and tax treaty abuses.
Mr. Moin ul Haque added that the signing of the Multilateral Instrument is yet another step of the incumbent to adopt international best practices in the field of tax matters and to join the multilateral fight against tax evasion through continuous and mutual exchange of information.
While counting the steps taken by the government to infuse financial transparency in Pakistan, the Ambassador said that Pakistan has already joined ‘Open Government partnership’ (OPG) in December, 2016, and as well as signed OECD’s Multilateral Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters in September, 2016. Pakistan has also lately signed revised Agreement on Avoidance of Double Taxation with Switzerland in March, 2017. These steps, he said, were reflective of the government’s firm commitment to a transparent and accountable governance structure in the country.
Earlier, Pakistan signed the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on Automatic Exchange of Financial Accounts (MCAA). The MCAA was signed by Mr. Mohammad Iqbal, chief (International Taxes), FBR. The signing was overseen by the Ambassador and Deputy Secretary General, OECD Mr. Douglas Franz. The signing ceremony was attended by senior OECD officials of Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of information for Tax purpose.

مورخہ 7 جون 2017ء: جناب معین الحق سفیر پاکستان برائے فرانس نے حکومت پاکستان کی جانب سے تنظیم برائے معاشی تعاون اور ترقیات کے ساتھ کثیرالاقوامی کنونشن برائے ٹیکس سمجھوتے کے نفاذ اور اس سے متعلقہ معاملات کے سمجھوتے پر دستخط کیئے جس کا مقصد کمپنیوں کی طرف سے اپنے منافع کو کم کرنا اور اپنے منافع کو ایسے علاقے میں منتقل کرناشامل ہے جہاں کمپنیوں کا کاروبار نہیں ہوتا۔ ان سمجھوتوں پر دستخط او ای سی ڈی کے پیرس میں واقع ہیڈکوارٹر میں آج کیئے گئے۔ پاکستان کے علاوہ دنیا سے آئے ہوئے 70 ممالک کے نمائندگان نے بی ای پی ایس کنونشن پر دستخط کیئے اس موقع پر او ای سی ڈی کے سیکرٹری جنرل جناب اینجل گوریا بھی موجود تھے۔
جناب معین الحق نے کہا کہ کثیر الاقوامی سمجھوتوں پر دستخط پاکستان کا ان کوششوں کی طرف ایک اور قدم ہے جس کا مقصد ٹیکس کے بین الاقوامی مروجہ اصولوں کا احترام کرنا اور کثیر الاقوامی فورم کی طرف سے اٹھائے جانے والے ان اقدامات کا حصہ بننا ہے جس میں ٹیکس کی عدم ادائیگی کو ناممکن بنانے اور آپس میں معلومات کا تبادلہ شامل ہے۔
سفیر پاکستان نے پاکستان کی ان کوششوں کا بھی ذکر کیا جو کہ پاکستان اس سمجھوتے سے پہلے اٹھا چکا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان پہلے ہی اوپن گورنمنٹ پارٹنرشپ (او جی پی) کے سمجھوتے پر دسمبر 2016 میں دستخط کر چکا ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ پاکستان او ای سی ڈی کے ساتھ کثیرالاقوامی کنونشن برائے ٹیکس قوانین کے اطلاق اور ٹیکس سے متعلقہ معاملات کے سمجھوتے پر بھی ستمبر 2016 کو دستخط کر چکا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان نے اس سال مارچ میں سوئیٹزرلینڈ کی حکومت کے ساتھ دوہرے ٹیکس سے اجتناب کے معائدے پر بھی دستحط کیئے۔ ان سمجھوتوں پر دستخط کرنے کا مقصد پاکستان کی ان کوششوں کا اظہار ہے جو کہ وہ شفاف، جوابدہ قومی ڈھانچہ استوار کرنے کے سلسلے میں اٹھا رہا ہے۔
اس سے قبل پاکستان نے کثیرالاقوامی مجاذ اتھارٹی اور خودکار تبادلہ برائے معاشی حسابات کے سمجھوتے پر بھی دستخط کیئے۔ اس سمجھوتے پر پاکستان کی طرف سے جناب محمد اقبال چیف انٹرنیشنل ٹیکسیز ایف بی آر نے دستخط کیئے۔ اس دستخطی تقریب میں سفیر پاکستان اور ڈپٹی سیکرٹری جنرل او ای سی ڈی کے علاوہ او ای سی ڈی کے سینئر آفیسران نے بھی شرکت کی۔
