Tourism Facilitation Section established in Pakistan Embassy
Paris 25th July, 2019. Mr. Jean-Bernard Sempastous, President, France-Pakistan Friendship Group in the French National Assembly and Mr. Moin ul Haque Ambassador of Pakistan to France inaugurated a dedicated, custom designed and fully equipped Tourism Facilitation Section at the Embassy of Pakistan in Paris to promote Pakistan as a preferred tourism destination for the French and the European tourists.
The inauguration ceremony held in Paris yesterday was attended by the French government officials, French tours operators, travel writers and media persons.
While speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador said that the setting up of the tourism facilitation section was part of Embassy’s Tourism initiative to promote and market Pakistan’s hidden touristic treasures. He also informed the guests about various steps taken by the government of Pakistan to promote tourism in Pakistan and invited them to visit Pakistan to enjoy its natural beauty, cultural heritage and the hospitality of its people.
The Ambassador said the tourism section was fully equipped to help the French tourists to find them a best possible tourism package suited to their preferences and travelling needs in coordination with appropriate tour operators in France and Pakistan. He specifically thanked the French and Pakistani tour operators for being a close partner of the Embassy by offering special tour packages for Pakistan. Specially designed brochures and leaflets in French language containing vital information on tourism attractions of Pakistan would also be available.
In his remarks, Mr. Jean-Bernard Sempastous praised the beauty and diversity of Pakistan and its potential for tourism. He appreciated Embassy’s efforts for showcasing Pakistan’s touristic strengths and undertook to continue promoting people to people contacts between Pakistan and France in his capacity as President of the Friendship Group.

پیرس 25 جولائی:2019 سفارت خانہ پاکستان برائے فرانس میں سیاحتی سہولیات سے مزین ایک شاندار شعبہ سیاحت کا افتتاح فرانسیسی قومی اسمبلی میں پاکستان فرانس دوستی گروپ کے صدر جناب جین برنارڈ سمپاتوس اور سفیر پاکستان جناب معین الحق نے مشترکہ طور پر کیا۔ اس شعبہ سیاحت کے قیام کا مقصد فرانسیسی اور یورپی سیاحوں میں پاکستان کے سیاحتی مقامات کو متعارف کرانا اور انہیں پاکستان کے سیاحتی مقامات کا دورہ کرنے دعوت دینا شامل ہے۔
کل پیرس میں منعقد ہونے والی افتتاحی تقریب میں فرانسیسی حکومتی اہلکاروں، فرانسیسی ٹور آپریٹرز، سفرناموں کے لکھاریوں اور صحافیوں کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔
اس موقع پرخطاب کرتے ہوئے سفیر پاکستان نے کہا کہ پیرس میں پاکستان کے شعبہ سیاحت کا قیام سفارت خانہ کی طرف سے متعارف کرائے جانے والی سیاحتی مہم کا حصہ ہے تاکہ پاکستان کے پوشیدہ سیاحتی مقامات کو فرانس اور یورپ میں متعارف کروایا جاسکے۔ انہوں نے مہمانوں کو ان متعدد اقدامات سے بھی آگاہ کیا جو حکومت پاکستان نے پاکستان میں سیاحت کو فروغ دینے کیلئے اٹھا رکھے ہیں۔ سفیر پاکستان نے حاضرین کو پاکستان کے سیاحتی مقامات کا دورہ کرنے کی بھی دعوت دی تاکہ وہ پاکستان کے قدرتی نظاروں، ثقافتی ورثہ اور پاکستانی عوام کی روائیتی مہمان نوازی سے لطف اندوز ہو سکیں۔
سفیر پاکستان نے کہا کہ شعبہ سیاحت تمام معلومات اور سہولتوں سے مزین ہے اور یہ شعبہ فرانسیسی سیاحوں کو مناسب اور منفرد ٹورپیکجز سے متعارف کروائے گا جو ان کی سفری ضروریات اور ترجیحات کو مدنظر رکھ کر بنائے گئے ہونگے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ یہ شعبہ فرانسیسی سیاحوں کو مناسب اور بہترین پاکستانی اور فرانسیسی ٹورآپریٹرز سے بھی متعارف کروائے گا تاکہ وہ پاکستان کے سفر اور پاکستان میں قیام کے دوران پوری طرح لطف اندوز ہو سکیں۔ سفیر پاکستان نے کہا کہ یہ شعبہ ساحوں کو فرانسیسی زبان میں خاص طور پر تیار کیئے جانے والے کتابچے اور دیگر معلومات بھی فراہم کرے گا۔
جناب جین برنارڈ سمپاتوس نے اپنے خطاب کے دوران پاکستان کی حسین وادیوں، سیاحتی تنوع اور پاکستان میں موجود پوشیدہ سیاحتی مقامات کی تعریف کی اور کہا کہ وہ فرانسیسی قومی اسمبلی میں موجود پاکستان فرانس دوستی گروپ کے صدر کے طور پر پاکستانی اور فرانسیسی عوام کے درمیان رابطوں کو مزید فروغ دینے کیلئے اپنا کردار ادا کرتے رہیں گے۔
Pakistan, France sign MOU to promote bilateral Trade, Investment and Business
Paris 18th July, 2019. Business France and Board of Investment (BOI) of Pakistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote bilateral cooperation in trade, investment and business between Pakistan and France.
The agreement was signed by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France Mr. Moin ul Haque on behalf of Board of Investment (BOI) of Pakistan and Mr. Christophe Lecourtier, Chief Executive Officer of Business France in a special signing ceremony held at the headquarter of Business France in Paris, today.
The signing of MOU was witnessed by the French government officials, officers of the Business France and Embassy of Pakistan, members of French civil society and media.
While speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador congratulated Business France and BOI terming the signature of this important agreement as a testimony of growing business relations between Pakistan and France. He noted that the new agreement would encourage and facilitate businessmen and investors from both countries to forge closer contacts and partnerships. The signing parties would also be able to help and support the businessmen from the two countries for organizing exhibitions, seminars and business missions.
Mr. Christophe Lecourtier, Chief Executive Officer of Business France while speaking on the occasion said that after signing of this landmark agreement, Business France will encourage and motivate French companies to invest in Pakistan and forge business alliances with their Pakistani counterparts.
Business France is a French government agency created in 2015 with the merger of French Agency for International Investment and UBIFRANCE. It is responsible for facilitating French small and medium-sized companies for their overseas investments and to promote France as an investment destination.

پیرس 18 جولائی:2019 پاکستان سرمایہ کاری بورڈ اور بزنس فرانس نے پاکستان اور فرانس کے درمیان باہمی تجارت، سرمایہ کاری اور کاروبار کو فروغ دینے کیلئے دوطرفہ یاد داشت کے معاہدے پر دستحط کیئے گئے۔
دوطرفہ یاد داشت کی یہ تقریب آج پیرس میں بزنس فرانس کے ہیڈکوارٹر میں منعقد کی گئی جس میں پاکستان سرمایہ کاری بورڈ کی جانب سے جناب معین الحق سفیر پاکستان برائے فرانس اور بزنس فرانس کے چیف ایگزیگٹیو افیسر جناب کرسٹوف لیکوٹیئر نے دستخط کیئے۔
اس دستخطی تقریب میں فرانسیسی سرکاری اہلکاروں، بزنس فرانس کے افسران، سفارت خانہ پاکستان کے افسران، فرانسیسی سول سوسائٹی کے اراکین اور صحافیوں کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔
سفیر پاکستان نے اس موقع پر اپنے خیالات کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے سرمایہ کاری بورڈ اور بزنس فرانس کو مبارک باد پیش کی اور کہا کہ یہ معاہدہ بہت اہمیت کا حامل ہے کیونکہ اس معاہدے کی وجہ سے فرانس اور پاکستان کے درمیان باہمی کاروباری تعلقات میں مزید اضافہ ہو گا۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ اس نئے معاہدے کی وجہ سے دونوں ممالک کے سرمایہ کاروں اور کاروباری حضرات کو باہمی تعلقات اور شراکت داری کو فروغ دینے کے مواقعے میسر آئیں گے اور دونوں ممالک کے کاروباری حضرات کو نمائش، سیمیناروں اور سرمایہ کاری مشن کے انعقاد میں بھی مدد ملے گی۔
اس موقع پر بزنس فرانس کے چیف ایگزیگٹیو افیسر جناب کرسٹوف لیکوٹیئرنے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اس تاریخی معاہدے پر دستخط کرنے کے بعد بزنس فرانس فرانسیسی سرمایہ کاروں کو پاکستان میں سرمایہ کاری کرنے پر آمادہ کرے گی اوراس سلسلے میں ان کی حوصلہ افزائی بھی کرے گی اور فرانسیسی تاجر اپنے پاکستانی ہم منصبوں کو فرانس میں سرمایہ کاری میں سہولیات فراہم کریں گے۔
بزنس فرانس ایک فرانسیسی حکومتی ایجنسی ہے جو 2015 میں بنائی گئی تھی۔ یہ ایجنسی فرانسیسی ایجنسی برائے بین الاقوامی سرمایہ کاری اور یوبی آئی فرانس کے ساتھ مل کر کام کررہی ہے۔ اس ایجنسی کی ذمہ داری ہے کہ وہ فرانسیسی چھوٹے اور درمیانی درجے کی کمپنیوں کو سمندر پار سرمایہ کاروں کے ساتھ مل کر فرانس میں سرمایہ کاری کو فروغ دینے کیلئے مواقعے اور سہولیات فراہم کرنا ہے۔

Pakistan Pavilion at Diplomatic Garden Party held in Paris attracted visitors
Paris 15th July, 2019. French and foreign visitors were introduced to Pakistan’s cultural heritage and traditional cuisine at the well decorated Pakistan Pavilion at the 7th Edition of Diplomatic Garden Party organized by the Lettre de la Diplomatique as part of French National Day celebrations in Paris yesterday.
Ambassadors and diplomats of many countries, and large number of French visitors visited the Pakistan pavilion and enjoyed the Pakistani cuisine and appreciated the cultural displays.
The Ambassador of Pakistan to France Mr. Moin ul Haque who inaugurated the Pakistani pavilion said that Embassy’s participation was part of its Public and Cultural Diplomacy initiative. He said that through this event we were also promoting Pakistan as a preferred tourist destination
The Diplomatic Garden Party is an annual event organized by the Lettre de la Diplomatique to provide an opportunity to the diplomatic community to celebrate French National Day by setting up their country pavilions.

پیرس 15 جولائی:2019 فرانس کے قومی دن کے موقع پر لیٹر دو لا ڈپلومیٹک کی جانب سے ساتویں ڈپلومیٹک گارڈن پارٹی میں خوبصورتی سے سجایا گیا ثقافتی ورثہ اور روائیتی کھانوں کا پاکستانی سٹال فرانسیسی اور غیرملکی شرکاء کی توجہ کا مرکز بنا رہا۔
اس ڈپلومیٹک گارڈن پارٹی میں آئے ہوئے مختلف ممالک کے سفیروں، سفارتکاروں اور بڑی تعداد میں فرانسیسی شرکاء نے پاکستانی سٹال کا دورہ کیا اور پاکستانی ثقافت کی تعریف کی اور پاکستان کے روائیتی و لذیز کھانوں سے لطف اندوز ہوتے رہے۔
پاکستان کے سفیر برائے فرانس جناب معین الحق نے پاکستانی سٹال کا افتتاح کیا اور کہا کہ اس ڈپلومیٹک گارڈن پارٹی میں پاکستان کی شرکت سفارت خانہ کی جانب سے جاری عوامی اور ثقافتی سفارت کاری کا حصہ ہے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ اس تقریب میں پاکستان کی شرکت پاکستان کے سیاحتی مقامات کو فروغ دینے میں بھی مدد گار ثابت ہوگی۔
اس سالانہ ڈپلومیٹک گارڈن پارٹی کا اہتمام لیٹر دو لا ڈپلومیٹک کی جانب سے کیا جاتا ہے جس میں فرانس کے قومی دن کو منانے کیلئے غیرملکی سفارت کاروں کو بھی ان کے روائیتی سٹالوں کے ذریعے شمولیت کا موقع فراہم کیا جاتا ہے۔

Photographic exhibition in Paris by French Photographers to Promote tourism in Pakistan
Paris 12th July, 2019. A special photographic exhibition of Pakistan’s natural and cultural landscapes is being held at the Prestigious Luxembourg gardens in the heart of Paris from 11th to 22nd July, 2019.
The photographic exhibition is jointly organized by the Embassy of Pakistan, Senate of France and French tour operators. The exhibition showcases around 50 photographs of ten French tour operators/Photo journalists who paid a 2-week visit to Pakistan in September last year.
At the launching ceremony held yesterday, the Ambassador thanked the French photographers and the tour operators for jointly exhibiting their photographs capturing Pakistan’s majestic mountains, archeological treasures and colorful folk traditions. He specifically thanked Mr. Dominque Auzias, CEO of French travel guide ‘Petit Fute’ for his key role in the organization of the exhibition.
Earlier, the French Tour Operators and photographers while sharing experiences of their visit to Pakistan said that Pakistan offers one of the best tourism opportunities of the world due to its majestic mountains, sprawling valleys, rich cultural heritage, hospitable and friendly people and fast improving tourism infrastructure. He said that tour packages offered by them for French tourists after their visit were receiving tremendous response and scores of French tourists were choosing Pakistan for adventure, culture and leisure tourism.

پیرس 12 جولائی:2019 پاکستان کے قدرتی اور ثقافتی مناظر کی ایک خصوصی تصویری نمائش پیرس کے خوبصورت لگزمبرگ گارڈن میں منعقد کی گئی یہ نمائش اس ماہ کی 11 تا 22 جولائی 2019 تک جاری رہے گی۔
اس تصویری نمائش کا اہتمام سفارت خانہ پاکستان، فرانسیسی سینٹ اور فرانسیسی ٹور آپریٹرز نے مشترکہ طور پر کیا۔ اس تصویری نمائش میں دس فرانسیسی ٹور آپریٹرز اور فوٹو جرنلسٹ جنہوں نے گذشتہ سال ستمبر میں پاکستان کا دو ہفتوں کا دورہ کیا تھا انہوں نے اپنی تقریباً پچاس سے زائد تصویریں نمائش کیلئے پیش کیں۔
اس تصویری نمائش کا افتتاح گزشتہ روز پیرس میں کیا گیا۔ تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے سفیر پاکستان جناب معین الحق نے فرانسیسی فوٹوگرافرز اور ٹورآپریٹرز کا پاکستان کے شاندار پہاڑوں، آثارقدیمہ اور رنگارنگ لوک روایات کی مشترکہ طور پر نمائش کرنے پر ان کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے جناب ڈومینک ایزواس چیف ایگزیگٹیو افیسر برائے فرانسیسی ٹریول گائیڈ ’پیتت فیت‘ کا اس نمائش کے انعقاد میں کلیدی کردار ادا کرنے پر ان کا خاص طور پر شکریہ ادا کیا۔
بعدازاں، فرانسیسی ٹورآپریٹرز اور فوٹوگرافرز نے اپنے دورہ پاکستان کے تجربے سے شرکاء کو آگاہ کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ پاکستان کے شاندار پہاڑ، خوبصورت وادیاں، وسیع ثقافتی ورثہ، لوگوں کا دوستانہ رویہ اور تیزی سے ترقی کرتا ہوا پاکستان کا سیاحتی ڈھانچہ پاکستانی سیاحتی مواقعوں کو دنیا میں منفرد کرتا ہے۔ فرانسیسی ٹور آپریٹرز نے بتایا کہ انہوں نے فرانسیسی سیاحوں کیلئے جو ٹور پیکجز دیئے تھے انہیں ان کا بہت مثبت رسپانس حاصل ہوا ہے اور فرانسیسی سیاح اپنے سیاحتی دوروں کیلئے پاکستان کے ثقافتی اور سیاحتی مقامات کا انتخاب کر رہے ہیں۔

Exposition photographique à Paris de photographes français pour promouvoir le tourisme au Pakistan
Paris, le 12 juillet 2019
Une exposition photographique hors norme sur les paysages naturels et culturels du Pakistan se tiendra du 11 au 22 juillet 2019 dans le prestigieux Jardin du Luxembourg au cœur de Paris.
L’exposition photographique est organisée conjointement par l’Ambassade du Pakistan, le Sénat français et des tour-opérateurs français. L’exposition présente une cinquantaine de clichés de dix tour-opérateurs/photojournalistes français qui ont effectué un séjour de deux semaines au Pakistan en septembre dernier.
Lors de la cérémonie d’ouverture qui s’est tenue hier, l’Ambassadeur a remercié les photographes et les tour-opérateurs français d’avoir exposé conjointement leurs clichés saisissants des montagnes majestueuses du Pakistan, ses trésors archéologiques et ses traditions populaires colorées. Il a remercié tout particulièrement M. Dominque Auzias, directeur général du guide touristique français Petit Futé, pour son rôle clé dans l’organisation de l’exposition.
Auparavant, les voyagistes et photographes français, en partageant leurs expériences de leur visite au Pakistan, ont déclaré que le Pakistan offre quelques-unes des meilleures opportunités touristiques du monde grâce à ses montagnes majestueuses, ses vastes vallées, son riche patrimoine culturel, son peuple accueillant et amical et son infrastructure touristique en rapide amélioration. Ils ont déclaré que les voyages organisés qu’ils proposaient aux touristes français en rentrant après leur visite au Pakistan, suscitaient un vif intérêt et que de nombreux touristes français font le choix du Pakistan pour le tourisme d’aventure, culturel et de loisirs.

French Government repatriated smuggled Archaeological artifacts of Pakistan
Paris 2nd July, 2019. A large number of smuggled archaeological artefacts of Balochistan, Pakistan, which were seized by the French Customs at the Paris Airport during the years 2006-2007, came to closure with their formal handing over to Pakistan.
Mr. Rodolphe GINTZ, Director General of Customs and Indirect Rights, Ministry of Action and Public Accounts of France handed over these rare and precious artefacts, from Balochistan civilization to the Deputy Head of Mission and Charge d’Affaires a.i. Mr. Muhammad Amjad Aziz Qazi in a simple restitution ceremony held at the Embassy of Pakistan to France, in Paris, today.
Present on the occasion were the Director of Culture, Education, Research and Network at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, and the Head of the Department of International Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and media person.
Mr. Amjad Aziz Qazi in his remarks thanked the Government of France and the French Custom Department for their support and concerted efforts for pursuing the repatriation case in the French courts and in completing the tedious and complicated legal formalities required for repatriation of these artefacts.
Mr. Rodolphe GINTZ, Director General of French Customs while speaking at the ceremony gave a background of the case noting that the artefacts were seized by the French Customs in pursuance of French obligations arising from UNESCO Convention of 1970 on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and transport of Ownership of Cultural property, to which both Pakistan and France are signatories.
Later, the Director General Customs formally handed over the Pakistani artifacts to the Deputy Head of Mission and Charge d’Affaires a.i. Embassy of Pakistan to France.

پاکستان کے قدیم اور نادر آثار قدیمہ کے نوادرات کی فرانس سے وطن واپسی
پیرس 2 جولائی:2019 پاکستان بلوچستان سے تعلق رکھنے والے انتہائی قدیم اور نادر آثار قدیمہ کے نوادرات حکومت فرانس نے ایک پیچیدہ اور مشکل کارروائی مکمل ہونے کے بعد پاکستان کے حوالے کر دیئے۔
آثار قدیمہ کے یہ نوادرات سال 2006-07 میں فرانس کے محکمہ کسٹم نے پیرس کے ہوائی اڈے پر ایک کارروائی کے دوران تحویل میں لے لیئے تھے۔
سفارت خانہ پاکستان پیرس میں آج ہونے والی اس سادہ و پروقار تقریب کے دوران بلوچستان کی قدیم تہذیب سے وابستہ آثار قدیمہ کے قیمتی و نایاب نوادرات کو جناب روڈولوف جنٹز ڈائریکٹر جنرل کسٹمز برائے فرانسیسی وزارت ایکشن و پبلک اکاؤنٹس نے سفارت خانہ کے چارج ڈی افیئراینڈ ڈپٹی ہیڈ آف مشن جناب محمد امجد عزیز قاضی کے حوالے کیا۔
اس موقع پر ڈائریکٹر ثقافت، تعلیم، تحقیق اور نیٹ ورک برائے وزارت یورپ و خارجی امور، سربراہ محکمہ بین الاقوامی امور برائے وزرات ثقافت اور صحافیوں کی بڑی تعداد موجود تھی۔
جناب امجد عزیز قاضی نے اس تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے ان آثار قدیمہ کے قیمتی اور نایاب نوادرات کی واپسی کیلئے عدالتی و دیگر قانونی کارروائی کے دوران حکومت فرانس اور فرانسیسی محکمہ کسٹم کی طرف سے فراہم کی جانے والی معاونت اور تعاون پر ان کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
جناب روڈولوف جنٹز ڈائریکٹر جنرل کسٹمز فرانس اور حکومت فرانس کے دیگر نمائندوں نے آثار قدیمہ کے نوادرات کی پاکستان کو واپسی پر خوشی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ان نوادرات کو فرانسیسی کسٹمز حکام نے یونیسکو کنونشن کے تحت ہونے والے معاہدے کے تحت تحویل میں لیا تھا جس پر پاکستان اور فرانس نے بھی دستخط کیئے ہیں۔
اس معاہدے کے تحت دونوں ممالک کے درمیان قدیم اور نادر نوادرات کی سمگلنگ کو روکنا اور ان کی ان ممالک کو واپسی کی شقیں شامل ہیں۔
بعد ازاں، ڈائریکٹر جنرل کسٹمز نے باضابطہ طور پر ان نادر نوادرات کو سفارت خانہ پاکستان برائے فرانس کے چارج ڈی افیئر اینڈ ڈپٹی ہیڈ آف مشن کے حوالے کیا۔
