Pakistan, France sign MOU to promote bilateral Trade, Investment and Business
Paris 18th July, 2019. Business France and Board of Investment (BOI) of Pakistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote bilateral cooperation in trade, investment and business between Pakistan and France.
The agreement was signed by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France Mr. Moin ul Haque on behalf of Board of Investment (BOI) of Pakistan and Mr. Christophe Lecourtier, Chief Executive Officer of Business France in a special signing ceremony held at the headquarter of Business France in Paris, today.
The signing of MOU was witnessed by the French government officials, officers of the Business France and Embassy of Pakistan, members of French civil society and media.
While speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador congratulated Business France and BOI terming the signature of this important agreement as a testimony of growing business relations between Pakistan and France. He noted that the new agreement would encourage and facilitate businessmen and investors from both countries to forge closer contacts and partnerships. The signing parties would also be able to help and support the businessmen from the two countries for organizing exhibitions, seminars and business missions.
Mr. Christophe Lecourtier, Chief Executive Officer of Business France while speaking on the occasion said that after signing of this landmark agreement, Business France will encourage and motivate French companies to invest in Pakistan and forge business alliances with their Pakistani counterparts.
Business France is a French government agency created in 2015 with the merger of French Agency for International Investment and UBIFRANCE. It is responsible for facilitating French small and medium-sized companies for their overseas investments and to promote France as an investment destination.

پیرس 18 جولائی:2019 پاکستان سرمایہ کاری بورڈ اور بزنس فرانس نے پاکستان اور فرانس کے درمیان باہمی تجارت، سرمایہ کاری اور کاروبار کو فروغ دینے کیلئے دوطرفہ یاد داشت کے معاہدے پر دستحط کیئے گئے۔
دوطرفہ یاد داشت کی یہ تقریب آج پیرس میں بزنس فرانس کے ہیڈکوارٹر میں منعقد کی گئی جس میں پاکستان سرمایہ کاری بورڈ کی جانب سے جناب معین الحق سفیر پاکستان برائے فرانس اور بزنس فرانس کے چیف ایگزیگٹیو افیسر جناب کرسٹوف لیکوٹیئر نے دستخط کیئے۔
اس دستخطی تقریب میں فرانسیسی سرکاری اہلکاروں، بزنس فرانس کے افسران، سفارت خانہ پاکستان کے افسران، فرانسیسی سول سوسائٹی کے اراکین اور صحافیوں کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔
سفیر پاکستان نے اس موقع پر اپنے خیالات کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے سرمایہ کاری بورڈ اور بزنس فرانس کو مبارک باد پیش کی اور کہا کہ یہ معاہدہ بہت اہمیت کا حامل ہے کیونکہ اس معاہدے کی وجہ سے فرانس اور پاکستان کے درمیان باہمی کاروباری تعلقات میں مزید اضافہ ہو گا۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ اس نئے معاہدے کی وجہ سے دونوں ممالک کے سرمایہ کاروں اور کاروباری حضرات کو باہمی تعلقات اور شراکت داری کو فروغ دینے کے مواقعے میسر آئیں گے اور دونوں ممالک کے کاروباری حضرات کو نمائش، سیمیناروں اور سرمایہ کاری مشن کے انعقاد میں بھی مدد ملے گی۔
اس موقع پر بزنس فرانس کے چیف ایگزیگٹیو افیسر جناب کرسٹوف لیکوٹیئرنے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اس تاریخی معاہدے پر دستخط کرنے کے بعد بزنس فرانس فرانسیسی سرمایہ کاروں کو پاکستان میں سرمایہ کاری کرنے پر آمادہ کرے گی اوراس سلسلے میں ان کی حوصلہ افزائی بھی کرے گی اور فرانسیسی تاجر اپنے پاکستانی ہم منصبوں کو فرانس میں سرمایہ کاری میں سہولیات فراہم کریں گے۔
بزنس فرانس ایک فرانسیسی حکومتی ایجنسی ہے جو 2015 میں بنائی گئی تھی۔ یہ ایجنسی فرانسیسی ایجنسی برائے بین الاقوامی سرمایہ کاری اور یوبی آئی فرانس کے ساتھ مل کر کام کررہی ہے۔ اس ایجنسی کی ذمہ داری ہے کہ وہ فرانسیسی چھوٹے اور درمیانی درجے کی کمپنیوں کو سمندر پار سرمایہ کاروں کے ساتھ مل کر فرانس میں سرمایہ کاری کو فروغ دینے کیلئے مواقعے اور سہولیات فراہم کرنا ہے۔
