Embassy of Pakistan to France values the Paris based Pakistani Journalists
Paris, 23rdOctober 2018: Embassy of Pakistan to France deeply values the important role of Paris based Pakistan Journalists for promoting and safeguarding Pakistan’s interests in France.
This was stated by the Ambassador of Pakistan to France Mr. Moin ul Haque while addressing the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected members of the Pakistan Press Club Paris France held in the suburb of Paris, yesterday.
The Ambassador said that the constitution of Pakistan guarantees freedom of Press, which as the fourth pillar of the state plays a very important role for strengthening the democracy and democratic institutions.
He thanked the Paris based Pakistan media for their positive role in keeping the Pakistani community informed about developments and progress of Pakistan and keeping the government of Pakistan informed about the problems faced by the Pakistani community.
The Ambassador congratulated the newly elected members of the club and called upon them to follow the dictates of their oath and continue to serve the country and its people through responsible and objective reporting.

سفارت خانہ پاکستان پیرس میں موجود پاکستانی صحافیوں کو قدر کی نگاہ سے دیکھتا ہے
پیرس: 23 اکتوبر2018ء سفارت خانہ پاکستان فرانس میں پاکستان کے مفادات کو فروغ اور تحفظ دینے کیلئے پاکستانی صحافیوں کے کردار کو بہت اہمیت دیتاہے۔
یہ بات سفیر پاکستان جناب معین الحق نے گزشتہ روز پیرس کے مضافاتی علاقے میں پاکستان پریس کلب پیرس، فرانس کے نومنتخب عہدیداروں کی حلف برداری کی تقریب کے موقعے پر کہی۔
سفیر پاکستان نے کہا کہ پاکستان کا آئین صحافت کی آزادی کی ضمانت دیتا ہے۔ صحافت ریاست کا چوتھا ستون ہے جو جمہوریت اور جمہوری اداروں کو مضبوط بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔
سفیر پاکستان نے فرانس میں پاکستانی صحافیوں کا پاکستانی کمیونٹی کو پاکستان کی ترقی و خوشحالی سے آگاہ رکھنے اور حکومت پاکستان کو فرانس میں مقیم پاکستانی کمیونٹی کو درپیش مسائل سے آگاہ رکھنے کیلئے مثبت کردار ادا کرنے پر ان کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
سفیر پاکستان نے نو منتخب پاکستان پریس کلب پیرس کے عہدیداروں کو مبارک باد پیش کی اور کہا کہ وہ اپنے حلف کی پاسداری کریں اور اپنے قلم کے ذریعے فرانس میں مقیم پاکستانی کمیونٹی میں ملک اور عوام کی خدمت اور محبت کا جذبہ ابھاریں۔
